There are many ways you can support MemorialCare's Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach. Gifts of all sizes make a great difference in ensuring leading-edge health care for your family, neighbors, and our entire community - especially those with the limited financial ability and access to care anywhere else.
Employee donations help fund patient programs, life-saving medical equipment, and important services at Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach and are 100% tax-deductible.
MMCF is the charitable organization whose sole purpose is to raise philanthropic, community support for - both our Long Beach hospitals - Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's.
There are two ways to donation: through payroll deductions or an outright contribution via, cash, check, or credit card. To sign up for payroll deduction or to make an outright donation, please visit our secure online donation form here.
Payroll deductions must be a minimum of $1. There is no minimum for outright contributions.
Payroll deductions are ongoing unless changed or stopped by the employee by contacting Memorial Medical Center Foundation at [email protected] or calling (562) 933-4483.
Donations are made solely and completely by choice. As a nonprofit health system, our hospitals rely heavily on community support to invest in programs, equipment, and services. Our community begins with our thoughtful and generous employee donors.

All MemorialCare employees and physicians that make a gift in support of our MemorialCare's Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach before December 31, 2020 will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of the following:
- Apple Watch
- Beats by Dr. Dre
- iPad
* All items are generously donated
We will hold the opportunity drawing in January, 2021. Winners are chosen at random.
Please encourage everyone to make a one-time donation.
All MemorialCare employees who make a one-time donation or enroll in payroll deduction. Employees already enrolled in payroll deduction will be entered automatically.
Also, affiliated physicians who make a one-time donation of any size will be entered into the drawing.
MemorialCare employees are eligible to receive a donor pin in recognition of their philanthropic commitment and support to our Long Beach hospitals - Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach.

Yes. MemorialCare employees who make a one-time donation with a check or credit card get a tax receipt within 10 business days.
All MemorialCare employees who make charitable donations to Long Beach Medical Center and/or Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach programs and funds will receive a year-end statement at their home address on file.
