38th Annual Champions Run for Life Torch Run
Support children and families affected by childhood cancer and serious blood disorders at the Champions Run for Life “Torch Run” fundraising event on Saturday, June 13. This Olympic-style relay race will be filled with uplifting moments as patients carry a torch – a symbol of hope for a cure – while they walk, run, wheel or are carried through a one-eighth-mile celebratory lap.

In 1960, visionaries and philanthropic members of Long Beach communities expanded Seaside Hospital and moved it to a new location with a new name - now called MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital. Future vision and philanthropy continue to be key elements in keeping high-quality healthcare close to home.
Since 1961, we have been a trusted partner with those in our community to ensure that excellence in health care is available right at home. We do this by supporting patient programs, clinical research, education, medical equipment and capital expansion at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women’s Hospital.
Long Beach Medical Center Foundation has partnered with hundreds of donors and organizations to raise the funds necessary to provide "that extra measure of care" to those seeking care on our campus.
