Donate Blood
MemorialCare is committed to supporting our community’s constant need of blood supply through blood donation programs.
Everyday someone like you saves a life through the simple act of donating blood. Although more than 50 percent of the population of the United States is able to donate, fewer than 5 percent actually do. Every month more than 1,000 units of blood are used in life-saving procedures for adults, children and newborns at our medical centers.
Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment have depleted red cells and platelets and require regular transfusions. Injury and accident victims also require blood products. You can truly make a difference by donating blood. Blood saves lives.
Our professional staff is trained to ensure your donation experience will be the best possible.
