Paul Do, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in pulmonology at Miller Childrens Hospital Long Beach. He earned a bachelors degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and received his medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine. Dr. Do completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Nevada, Reno followed by a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the University of California, Irvine.
He worked as a lab researcher at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and as a pediatric hospitalist for three years before joining Miller Childrens. Dr. Do has written several peer-reviewed articles appearing in medical journals such as Lung, Pediatric Pulmonology and Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Pulmonology.
He has conducted multiple research projects in the field of pediatric pulmonology. In 2012, he received a grant for his research on cystic fibrosis from the Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
His clinical interests include cystic fibrosis, asthma, infant pulmonary function testing and home lung function monitoring.
