Dr. Devin Binder attended Harvard University, majoring in Biological Anthropology, and received his medical degree from Duke University in 1999. He completed a surgical internship and neurosurgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he continued to earn clinical and research awards. Since 2010, Dr. Binder has been in private practice in neurological surgery in Orange County and holds research and teaching positions at the University of California, Riverside, where he runs the NIH-funded Translational Neuroscience Laboratory.
His clinical expertise includes general neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, MR-guided Focused Ultrasound, deep brain stimulation and functional neurosurgery, spine surgery, and brain tumor surgery.
Dr. Binder is the single most experienced neurosurgeon performing MR-guided Focused Ultrasound cases across the West Coast.
