Volunteers will assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists with various department needs. This role requires a minimum of 4 hours of standing and/or walking.

Volunteers will assist clinical staff with the needs of patients and families in the Cardiac Monitoring Unit. This role requires a minimum of 4 hours of standing and/or walking.
When: Monday - Sunday
Available Shifts: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Volunteers assist clinical staff with the needs of patients and families in the Emergency Department. This role requires four hours of standing or walking.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Must be over 18 years of age or older and commit to 9 months or 150 hours with a minimum of 4 hours per week.
When: Monday – Friday, Some weekends available.
Available Shifts: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Volunteers will communicate with families in the waiting area, provide comfort and support. This role requires 4 hours of standing and/or walking.
Requirements: Must commit to 100 hours done with at least one 4hr shift per week.
Shifts: Tuesday – Thursday 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM or 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Duties: Volunteers will assist with providing administrative support, preparing educational resource materials, and support staff with program organization needs.
Shift: Monday only - 8:30am - 12:30pm
Volunteers will assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy staff in our department. This role requires a minimum of 4 hours of standing and/or walking.

This program is for individuals who are interested in working with adult patients. Volunteers engage with adults one on one in their rooms. Volunteers are oriented to several hospital units and are trained so that they can work independently during their volunteer time.
Requirements: All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older, have extensive experience with working with adult patients, and be prepared to perform physical duties such as lifting and walking long distances. Pets must be certified through Pet Partners and provide a copy of certification. Volunteers are required to provide copies of shot records which include: Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis & or DA2pp (Combo vaccine with Distemper, Hepatitis, &Parvo). All Pets must be bathed before hospital visits.
Shifts: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Volunteers welcome and support the various needs of hospital guests. This role also supports the operational needs of the hospital including discharging patients, escort and messenger services.
Requirements: must be 18 years of age or older and able to push up to 225 pounds.
Volunteers will be working in the Breast Center at the Todd Cancer Pavilion (TCP). Volunteers assist with escorting patients to waiting areas, transport paperwork and support the various needs of the dressing rooms in the Breast Center. Must have excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with patients.
Requires 9-month or 150 hours commitment.
Shifts 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Volunteers stationed at the ground floor lobby desk greet patients entering the Todd Cancer Pavilion (TCP). The volunteer’s main responsibility is to escort new patients to their doctor appointment in the doctor’s offices on the second or third floor of the TCP. Volunteer may be needed to assist patients needing a wheelchair.
Days and Shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, and Monday through Thursday afternoons from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
