Charles "Chuck" Sammis
After many years in corporate America I was encouraged by my wife, RuthAnne, to look into volunteer work with PFAC.
In November, 2014, I was selected to work with the PFAC group within the MemorialCare Medical Group and have since participated in projects involving use of the ‘Lean’ system developed by Toyota; an in-depth study concerning development of an updated mobile app for patients and clinicians; and I am currently involved with a leadership group’s ‘Practice Transformation’ project.
It’s an exciting time to be involved and to represent the voice of the patient in one of the most progressive and forward thinking medical organizations.
