Its goal is to empower you to maintain or improve your complete well-being through active living, mindful eating, life balance and social connection. The Good Life provides employees with the tools that make it easy to focus on any area of wellness that is important to you, from increasing fitness, building better nutrition and sleep habits, or increasing mindfulness skills.

Employee assistance program

At MemorialCare, we understand that personal problems occasionally arise, and you may need to seek outside professional advice. Our employee assistance program helps employees and their immediate family develop and maintain a lifestyle that supports good health and productivity. The program provides free, confidential counseling, assessment, referral and follow-up. EAP services are at no cost to the employee and all services are completely confidential.

Retirement plans

The MemorialCare 401(k) plan provides an easy way to save for your future. It offers convenient contributions via paycheck deduction, pre-tax as well as Roth contributions, with available loans and rollover provisions, an employer matching contribution plus a broad range of funds to help you achieve a diversified portfolio. In addition, we provide regular one-on-one access to expert financial planners to help you shape your saving strategies.

Educational opportunities and tuition reimbursement

MemorialCare encourages and supports the professional growth of its employees by providing financial assistance to further their education. Courses must be related to the employee’s position or be required by a degree program, which leads to a MemorialCare related career.

Voluntary benefits

Our employees are eligible to participate in several voluntary benefit plans — including college savings plan, long-term care, critical illness insurance, and pet insurance.

Employee Referral Program

Our employees are eligible to make referrals through our employee referral program. MemorialCare is looking for great candidates to fill certain open and hard to fill positions throughout our healthcare system, and when employees refer people to our team, you can qualify to earn cash incentives. According to the AACN, for patients and their families, this award "signifies exceptional care through improved outcomes and greater overall satisfaction." For nurses, it "signals a positive and supportive work environment with greater collaboration between colleagues and leaders, higher morale and lower turnover." The award is active for three years.
