Giraffe Ominbed Carestation (12 needed): $22,000 each Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Current equipment needs replacing with new stations that provide advanced features and technology to create newborn microenvironment
Arctic Sun: $53,331 Intensive Care Unit Temperature-management system modulates temperature with precision; cooling often used to help prevent brain damage after someone has been resuscitated following cardiac arrest
Avery Rocker (12 needed): $2,100 each Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum Rockers for new mom are needing replacement
Sim Junior Simulator: $44,653Inservice Education An interactive pediatric simulator that allows clinical staff to practice and learn clinical skills relating to small adults or children.
Kangaroo Recliner/ Rocker (2 needed): $9,114Neonatal Intensive Care UnitSpecially designed recliners that support the natural skin-to-skin bonding experience known as "kangaroo care" between parents and newborn.
Hospice & Palliative Care Staff training and programmatic support for care of patients with serious or terminal illness
Patient Care Navigator Program These specially trained staff members help patients coordinate care with each medical specialty to make treatment plans go smoother.
Nursing Education: $1,000 – $5,000 Supporting continuous education and certification for Saddleback Medical Center nursing staff.
Interpreter on Wheels (4 needed): $1,375 eachBreast Center Video remote interpreting service that helps patients and staff overcome a language barrier with a medical interpreter who are on call at all times.
