What is the Annual Giving Program at Memorial Medical Center Foundation?

The Annual Giving Program provides support to the areas of greatest need at Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach. Each and every gift is greatly needed to better support the more than 200,000 patients served at our hospitals each year.

Is my Annual Giving gift tax-deductible?

Yes. The Memorial Medical Center Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. MMCF's tax identification number is 95-6105984.

To confirm that MMCF has received your gift and for tax purposes, you'll receive a written donation acknowledgment letter in the mail.

How can I make a gift with my credit card every month?

You are able to make automatic monthly donations with your credit card. Please visit our secure online donation page here to enroll.

Why is there a need for an Annual Giving Program?

Your support will ensure more patients have access to the life-saving treatments, resources, and one-on-one support they need to reach for a hopeful future beyond their health challenges.

Can I designate my Annual Giving gift to a particular hospital?

Yes. You may select, whether, you would like to support:

  • Long Beach Medical Center's Greatest Need, or
  • Miller Children's & Women's Greatest Need.
Can I make a gift to the Annual Giving Program in honor or memory of a loved one?

Yes. Any gift can be made in memory or in honor of a loved one, medical professional, or in celebration of a milestone. E.g. in honor of, in memory of, for the birth of, get well wishes, in celebration of, in honor of my care provider, etc.

When making a gift, please indicate the name of the person you wish to honor and provide a mailing address. MMCF will send a notification of your generous remembrance to the individual or individuals memorialized or honored.

How do I sign up to the Annual Giving Program?

There are several ways:

  1. You can make a one-time donation or sign up to monthly donations with a major credit card. Please visit our secure online donation page here.
