About Me
Dr. Ziad Wagih Chaya, MD, studied medicine at Touro University in Las Vegas. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. He decided to pursue medicine because he always dreamt of becoming a physician and most importantly, wanted to give back to his local community.
Being a member of the MemorialCare team is an honor and I’m so privileged to be able to give back to the community that I grew up in and love so much.
Dr. Chaya was born and raised in Southern California. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing football, swimming, doing mixed martial arts (first degree black belt in Tang-Soo-Do), and going to the beach with his friends.
