Trisha Chaudhury, DO

Trisha Chaudhury, DO’s decision to pursue a career in medicine started with the first doctor kit she received as a child. “As I grew older, I continued to be drawn to medicine because it combined science, problem-solving, and meaningful human connection,” she says. “During college, I worked in both an emergency department and a research lab, and quickly realized that I found the most fulfillment in interacting directly with patients and being part of their care. I was initially drawn to Obstetrics and Gynecology because of my passion for women's health and reproductive care. During medical school, I discovered how much I loved the variety within the field, from preventative care and surgery to delivering babies and building long-term relationships with patients through different stages of life. I always say I get to work with the best patient population, and it’s a privilege to care for patients during some of the most important moments in their lives.”

Dr. Chaudhury derives the greatest professional satisfaction when her patients fully understand why they might be experiencing certain symptoms and understand their treatment plan. “I love using visuals or diagrams to help explain certain procedures or medications to my patients,” she says. It is important to her that her patients know that she is there to listen. 

“I believe the best care comes from building trust and working together to create a plan that feels right for each individual patient. I will always have my patients' best interests at heart and strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care through every stage of life.”

Dr. Chaudhury’s family moved quite a bit when she was younger but her parents decided to make Phoenix their home when she was 10 years old. Outside of medicine, she enjoys trying new restaurants, reading books, watching movies/TV shows, walks with her dog, and playing tennis.
