About
Ruthann Devera, M.D., is a board-certified OB/GYN with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Common conditions she treats include menopause, pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, urinary and fecal incontinence, ovarian cysts, and contraception options.
“I love seeing my patients have great outcomes,” says Dr. Devera. “Some women are on a journey to become a mother while other women are on the other end of their reproductive years and need guidance through their hormonal changes. Some women are looking for answers to issues they've been dealing with, such as having pelvic pain for years, never feeling validated, and never knowing why.”
Coming from a family of physicians, and seeing her father enjoy his career as a physician, Dr. Devera was influenced to follow in his footsteps, thus beginning a career in the field of medicine. Dr. Devera grew up in Long Beach, California, and partners with local non-profit organizations. She has strong community ties and strives to have a positive impact through every patient encounter.

First time coming to this office and WOW I have never been so impressed by a doctors office. I was in and out and seen by the doctor in under 30 minutes. All my questions were answered, everyone was super nice from the front office to the MA and nurses, to the doctor herself. Dr. Devera was amazing and can’t recommend this office enough!!!!

Dr. Devera is great! She did my ovary removal and did such a great job. She even called me a day before the surgery to see if I had any questions. I had surgeries before and no other Doctor’s that I’ve had ever called me a day before surgery. She has been my gynecologist for awhile now and she’s knowledgeable and takes her time answering your question. I never felt rushed. I already recommend her to family and friends because I know she’ll take good care of them.

Immediately knew I wanted her to be my primary OB of choice the moment she took the time to schedule me for in office visit as soon as possible where other doctors had me waiting months. Dr. Devera is honestly the best I have followed her from CWC. She makes this experience as comfortable as possible getting your woman exam can be so awkward and uncomfortable but not with Dr. Devera she makes it so easy and really takes her time to listen to your concerns and makes you feel reassured and not rushed at all. The girls at the desk and nurses are also super friendly and very nice.

My recent visit had to be rescheduled due to an emergency surgery on her part and they did everything to get me in with her because I objected to seeing a different provider at a different location.
