It’s been two years since I have given birth, and I still think about Dr. Lopez. She was so compassionate and kind to me and always made me feel better when I was so nervous and worried about everything. She’s honest, straightforward forward, and highly skilled. I highly recommend her and if I could I would be traveling across states to have her as my OB again that’s how comfortable she made me and her office staff. The woman’s hospital as well that she delivers in was AMAZING. Clean, fantastic staff, so helpful. Dr Lopez is truly so special if you’re nervous or worried and have 100 questions she is the OB for you. ❤️ I am pregnant again and have had a VERY hard time finding a dr out of state that comes close to comparing to her and I’m truly sad that I can’t just comeback and deliver with her.

The best visit I've had in my life! The free parking right infront of the building is an unmatched experience right off the bat. The new building is incredible - clean, calm, and spacious. It was easy to locate the office and they greeted me quickly and kindly. I arrived a few minutes early and was amazed how quickly my name was called almost immediately. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Dr. Lopez is always great and actually looks at you in the eye when addressing any concerns or questions. I was in and out in under 30 minutes!!

Cares more about money not patientsAs a first-time pregnant and a foreigner, I initially found a doctor who seemed calm and spoke perfect English. However, red flags soon appeared. She doesn't care much about patients, failed to explain things, and pushed for expensive tests to make money. She recommended two costly genetic tests without explaining what they were or their cost. We later discovered we could have had these tests for free through the California screening program. She didn't inform us of this option, which was her duty. Appointments and tests were scheduled as quickly as possible, clearly to maximize her profit. Avoid early appointments before week 11 due to the high miscarriage risk. I had genetic tests when the embryo was already dead, which we didn’t realize due to poor timing. They pressured me into more expensive consultations and surgery, but I chose to wait for a natural miscarriage, which was less risky and free. Avoid her if you want a doctor who genuinely cares about patients and not money.

As a first-time pregnant at age 43 and a foreigner, I was initially happy to find a doctor quickly who made a good first impression. She seemed serene and calm, and her English and pronunciation were perfect to understand. However, some serious red flags soon emerged, and my positive impression dissipated like steam over a pot! I realized that she really doesn't care much about people, doesn't explain much, recommends expensive tests, and seems to want to get the most money out of you.She recommended 2 expensive genetic tests because of my age and asked if I wanted them without any explanation of what these tests exactly were or how much they cost. I didn't know anything about it yet and blindly believed her. We did the testing, which cost us a lot of money, and later, we found out that we could have had the same tests completely for free through the California screening program! She didn't inform me of this option, although it is her duty by California law to let patients know about such possibilities.Scheduling the appointments and tests were done as quickly as possible, clearly aiming to get the most money out of us. Never go to the first appointment earlier than week 11, as the first three months carry a high risk of miscarriage. Because one of the tests was positive, her office also tried to push me into another expensive genetic consultation. If I had undergone that consultation, it would have been just more money thrown out of the window. And after the miscarriage, they again tried to force me into surgery as soon as possible. I was smarter already and didn't let myself be pushed into it. Instead, I waited for a natural miscarriage, which was free and less risky than surgery.Avoid Dr. Lopez if you want a doctor who truly cares about people and not just money. I was really highly disappointed by her approach. And also, don't be misled by the positive reviews on Google as I was at the beginning; on other websites, the reviews are not as favorable...

As a first-time pregnant at age 43 and a foreigner, I was initially happy to find a doctor quickly who made a good first impression. She seemed serene and calm, and her English and pronunciation were perfect to understand. However, some serious red flags soon emerged, and my positive impression dissipated like steam over a pot! I realized that she really doesn't care much about people, doesn't explain much, recommends expensive tests, and seems to want to get the most money out of you.She recommended 2 expensive genetic tests because of my age and asked if I wanted them without any explanation of what these tests exactly were or how much they cost. I didn't know anything about it yet and blindly believed her. We did the testing, which cost us a lot of money, and later, we found out that we could have had the same tests completely for free through the California screening program! She didn't inform me of this option, although it is her duty by California law to let patients know about such possibilities.Scheduling the appointments and tests were done as quickly as possible, clearly aiming to get the most money out of us. Never go to the first appointment earlier than week 11, as the first three months carry a high risk of miscarriage. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Rachel Lopez. I often felt dismissed and that my concerns were not taken seriously. I had mentioned that my baby was measuring in a low percentile, but I wasn’t informed that my pregnancy was considered high risk until 36 weeks. I also asked about going on maternity leave early due to significant work stress and felt that concern was dismissed.I was also not informed that she would be on vacation around the time I was expected to give birth, which I felt was unprofessional. Overall, I did not feel heard or properly informed throughout my pregnancy. As a younger patient, I often felt like my concerns were minimized.
