About Me

Dr. Worcester attended schools in the Pacific Northwest. He served as Bellevue Washington High School Vice-President. He received honors at graduation and was a member of the National Honor Society.

At the University of Oregon, he was a member of Skull & Dagger, Asklepiads, Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Worcester attended the University of Oregon Medical School graduating cum laude, and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.

His internship was completed at Harbor General Hospital in Torrance, and his residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.

Between his internship and residency, Dr. Worcester served as a Major in the United States Army Medical Corps in Europe. He was Chief Resident at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center and is presently a clinical faculty member there. He became board certified in 1979.

Dr. Worcester presently serves as President of the Long Beach Medical Center Hospital Group, and Chairman of the Utilization Review Committee.  His hobbies include running, cooking, and travel.
