About Me
Gergis Ghobrial, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in trauma, critical care, general surgery and a special interest in minimally invasive robotic hernia repair.
Dr. Ghobrial is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an active member of the Americas Hernia Society. He is dedicated to advancing the art of hernia surgery and keeping up-to-date with all the new technology and techniques to ensure the best surgical outcomes for his patients.
He has been in private practice in Southern California since 1997. Dr. Ghobrial is an active member at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, where he previously served as Chief of Surgery and is a member of the Board of Trustees.
