About Me

Dedication to her patients, excellence in the operating room and hard work are some of the many qualities that have made Dr. Klause one of the leading surgeons in South Orange County.

Dr. Klause graduated with a bachelor of science from UCLA in 1989 and completed medical school at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1993. She completed her six-year surgical residency program at Martin Luther King Hospital in 1999 where she received the Chief Resident Award. Dr. Klause went on to successfully complete a Fellowship with an emphasis in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care also at Martin Luther King Hospital in 2000.

Specializing in General, Breast, Laparoscopic and Trauma Surgery, Dr. Klause is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma Advanced Life Support Provider. She is a member of the MemorialCare Physician's Society.

Dr. Klause loves living in South Orange County with her husband(and best friend) and they have been blessed with three wonderful children. In her free time, she loves doing crafts with the kids, gourmet cooking and just being "Mom"!
