Bruce M Gao, MD

Dr. Bruce Gao is a board-certified urologist with UCI Health and MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

Dr. Gao earned his medical degree at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine in Canada followed by a residency in urology at the University of Toronto. He served as chief resident and was awarded the prestigious Patrick Harty Award as top resident for clinical acumen, surgical skill, and unwavering commitment to patient health. He is currently undergoing fellowship-training in minimally invasive surgery at the University of California Medical Center. Dr. Gai is board-certified in urology by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Gao enjoys powerlifting, cycling (rain or shine, hail or snow) and research on whether video gamers make better urologists. He strives to optimize solar panels in developing countries to provide electricity and hearing in his spare time.
