Bhavana Pathak, MD

Bhavana Pathak, MD, attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine in Massachusetts, and went on to complete her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. After her residency, she completed her fellowship in hematology/ oncology at UC Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Pathak is widely known for her program development and research in physician wellness and burnout. She has a special interest in integrative oncology while incorporating mindfulness-based practices. Dr. Pathak is a certified trauma-informed yoga instructor, which has applications for patients suffering from cancer.

Dr. Pathak’s hobbies include yoga, painting, traveling, dancing, and singing. She is classically trained in singing Soprano and Indian classical music, and is also fluent in Hindi, Nepali, and Maithili.
