About Me

Dr. Anna Houterman is a board-certified, fellowship trained breast surgeon, specializing in benign and malignant diseases of the breast. As a breast surgical oncologist Dr. Houterman's expertise includes oncoplastic surgery, breast conservation surgery, nipple sparing mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy.

Dr. Houterman received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from the University of Southern California. She completed a general surgery residency at Kaiser Permanente and returned to USC to complete a specialty fellowship in breast surgical oncology. During her career Dr. Houterman has authored many peer-reviewed journal articles and has been an invited speaker at many academic conferences as well as community events. She is an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Association of Women Surgeons. Dr. Houterman is passionate about providing excellent care for her patients and is dedicated to ensuring optimal outcomes in a compassionate and healing environment.
