Matching gifts are a great way to increase the impact of your gift.
A matching gift is a charitable gift made by a matching donor (an employer) once a donor (an employee) first makes a gift to Memorial Medical Center Foundation. If the company you work for is a matching gift corporation, Long Beach Memorial or Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach will receive your gift plus the matching gift from the company—up to a certain percent.
Through matching gift, a donor increases the value of his or her gift simply by participating in the program. The matching donations made by companies are tax deductible and also create a positive image for the company in the community.
