Labor & Delivery:

• Women being evaluated for admission to the Labor & Delivery Unit are permitted one partner in care.
• Women who are admitted to the Labor & Delivery Unit are permitted three partners in care in the room at one time, 24 hours a day. Three room passes will be provided at the time of admission and are to be worn at all times.

Mother/Baby Unit:

• Visiting hours are from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM however please note that Quiet/Cuddle Time is observed from 3:00 - 5:00 PM daily to allow for mother, infant and primary partner in care to rest and get to know each other. This is a special and very personal time for the new family. Visitors are encouraged to plan their visits either before 3:00 PM or wait until after 5:00 PM
• Due to the size of the rooms and our volume of patients, two visitors are allowed in a room at one time. Additional support persons are asked to wait in the Long Beach Memorial main lobby on the 1st Floor and take turns.
