Each year, more than 2,000 MemorialCare employees help support our nonprofit health system through our iGIVE employee giving program. When you give to MemorialCare, you help impact patient care and allow us to stay at the leading edge of medical advancements.
We’re incredibly grateful for all you do—and for the many who choose to go a step further by supporting MemorialCare through the iGIVE employee giving program. Because of your generous giving, you help to improve patient care and enhance the entity where you work.
Through the iGIVE employee giving program, MemorialCare employees have donated over $6.9 million over the years. Thanks to iGIVE participants, we’re able to support initiatives like:
- Enhancements to the MemorialCare Imaging Center on at Long Beach Medical Center including the installation of our first 3T MRI has improved imaging capabilities and significantly reduces wait times.
- Recent investments at Miller Children's & Women's Hospital include a new neonatal flight isolette to provide a controlled, intensive care environment for critically ill or premature newborns during helicopter and fixed-wing transport to our NICU, and the addition of Karat, who joined the MemorialCare family last year to continue the tradition of comfort and support following the retirement of beloved facility dog Zeta.
- The Innovation Lab at Orange Coast Medical Center, a dedication space where modern technologies and clinical solutions are developed, tested and refined to enhance patient outcomes.
- Advanced cardiac care by expanding cardiac surgery nurse navigation at the MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute at Saddleback Medical Center
- The MemorialCare Medical Foundation's Angels Navigator Volunteer Program, connecting newly diagnosed patients with trained breast cancer survivors who provide one-on-one emotional support and guidance.
