September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Angels Baseball joins MemorialCare to Raise Awareness and Spread Hope.

Each year, more than 11,000 children in the U.S. under 15 are diagnosed with cancer. More than 90,000 children will lose their lives to cancer this year. The Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Institute at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach provides quality, compassionate care to children and teens with cancer, sickle cell disease and other serious blood disorders. Our doctors integrate new research efforts into treatment plans that allow patients diagnosed with cancer and serious blood diseases access to the latest therapies, technologies and procedures.
