A healthy guy and avid tennis player, Dave was shocked when he was diagnosed with cancer after a routine colonoscopy. Dave’s surgeon at Saddleback Medical Center, Dr. Nora Evans, recommended robotic-assisted surgery to remove the cancerous part of his colon.

"I didn't know about robot-assisted surgery until my surgeon explained it to me. My biggest concern was the recovery time. I thought it would take months, but boy was I wrong!" says Dave.

Within a few weeks, Dave was back at full strength and even won a doubles tournament just one month after surgery.
