At only 10-months-old, Logan began to experience strained breathing. His parents rushed him to Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach. With a heart ultrasound, his tiny heart revealed life-threatening congenital cardiac defects. Logan’s heart failed on the way to the operating room. Immediately, Logan underwent an intricate 5-hour surgery to reconnect pulmonary veins and repair the hole in his heart. Today, 5-year-old Logan runs around at full speed, without a care in the world.
