Vineet K Shrivastava, MD

Vineet K. Shrivastava, M.D., is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist with the Magella Medical Group (MEDNAX) and serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MemorialCare Miller Women’s & Children’s Hospital Long Beach.

He received his medical degree and residency in obstetrics & gynecology from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Shrivastava completed the three-year maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program, including one year of research investigation at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. He is dual board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine.

Dr. Shrivastava approaches his patients directly and honestly to provide the best obstetrical experience possible. His clinical focus is the care of women and their fetuses who are at high risk for and/or have developed complications or challenges during the pregnancy. Conditions may include placenta accreta spectrum (PAS); fetal echocardiography; fetal growth restrictions; management of medical diseases in pregnancy, maternal medical complications; multiple gestations (twins, triplets, and higher-order multiples); prenatal diagnosis; preterm birth; and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Dr. Shrivastava is a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ACOG).
