Dr. Hsieh is an exceptional physician. She took a thorough history, did a very detailed exam, was pleasant and reassuring, and explained everything we needed to know. She arranged for a referral to a hand specialist, and had her assistant put my hand and forearm in a splint to stabilize my fractured hand until the orthopedist could apply a cast. Memorial Care is fortunate to have her on staff!

No one wants to have to go to Urgent Care, and it can be scary because someone is obviously sick or injured, but the whole team at Los Altos made it as positive as it could be. Dr. Hsieh was efficient and expedient yet she also listened to understand, explain, and answer questions and concerns. It felt like the same kind of caring our primary would give (and we love our primary). Everyone made us feel like we belonged. Little things mattered like the front desk going ahead and getting a wheelchair when it looked like my daughter needed one, and everyone looked up from their computers for an extra little “good bye” and “take care” as we left. Thanks to Dr. Hsieh and the Los Altos team!

She did was apologize for the wait and then right away said I read here that you had a fall and your ribs in your left side hurt. She apologized for being late because they had been busy all day, but I’m glad she took the time to know why I was there. Most doctors don’t apologize. She did a quick exam and when she examined the area of concern, realized how painful it was stopped and said me let’s get some Xrays I don’t want to cause you anymore pain. Very compassionate Dr.

Dr. Vicki Hsieh let me start off by saying I’m so grateful for this doctor. I have never met anyone like her. I walked into the urgent care Wednesday night. I was literally the last patient there. She actually listened to me and gave me the second opinion that I was looking for and the compassion. She sent me back to the emergency room where I got the first opinion and told me exactly what to do and what to ask for. If it wasn’t for her, my appendix would’ve burst and it would’ve been a more complicated situation. I was with pain for four days. I am so grateful for you once again and I am so happy that I walked into your life. Thank you so much for listening to me and I appreciate you so much. We need more doctors like you. You are amazing! The doctor answered all my questions and suggested I connect again with my ENT in regards to ordering a different type of CT for my sinuses which he was going to do but did not follow through with.

She has actually been really nice and good doctor when I've gone to the Los Altos urgent care. I just took my son in and it was near closing. They got him in pretty quick, did a few tests and wasn't much more she could do that late, but she was nice and treated him well.

Doctor disregard my concerns and questions regarding her diagnosis, treat plan and recommendations. Therefore I had my son seen by a non-memorial care MD that validated my concerns and confirmed that her diagnosis and treatment plan were wrong. This is the second time I have experienced an urgent care MD at memorial care give the wrong diagnosis and treatment plan. Fortunately in both cases I knew better and was able to avoided serious negative consequences from the care that was given at memorial care.
