About Me
Stanley Nguyen, DO, studied osteopathic medicine at Midwestern University in Arizona and went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. He initially studied English Literature as an undergraduate because he loved reading stories growing up. Ultimately, he chose a career in medicine because of the amazing stories he hears from his patients every day. Dr. Nguyen enjoys educating his patients and witnessing their gratitude after gaining a better understanding of their health.
As a physician, I am so grateful to be able to learn something new every day, solve complex problems, practice compassion, and be a leader. I chose internal medicine since I enjoy treating a wide range of diseases and working with many different specialists.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Fountain Valley, California, speaks fluent Vietnamese, and speaks conversational Spanish. Outside of medicine, his interests include traveling, hiking, playing guitar and piano, going to live music concerts, reading about film and rock history, and spending time with his family. He also is a big fan of mixed martial arts.
