Sarah Hassan, MD joined the OC Blood & Cancer Care team in 2018. Originally from Chicago, she is excited to call Orange County her new home.
Before she began residency, Dr. Hassan worked as a research associate at the University of Illinois Department of Surgery in Chicago. She completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2018. She is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Hassan supports Integrative Medicine and although she enjoys working with all patients, she is most interested in treating breast cancer. She strongly values patient autonomy and personalized medicine. Her goal is to provide empathetic care and dignity to every patient she treats.
In her free time Dr. Hassan loves to hike, spend time at the beach, travel, learn different languages, and appreciate art. She is fluent in Urdu and understands basic Polish and Spanish.
