Rithika Ramakrishnan, MD

Rithika Ramakrishnan, MD is a fellowship-trained, board-certified infectious disease specialist with ProHealth Partners in Long Beach.

Her clinical interests include comprehensive treatment of conditions including diabetic foot infections, vertebral osteomyelitis, HIV and its complications, and TB. She likes to ensure patients have a thorough understanding of their conditions to better advocate for their own health.

She earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College followed by a residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in infectious disease at LAC-Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Ramakrishnan is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and infectious disease.

Outside of work, Dr. Ramakrishnan enjoys reading and enjoying time with her husband, family and friends.
