Reza Bolourian, MD

Dr. Reza Bolourian is a dual board certified surgeon by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery . Upon completion of his undergraduate college education in San Francisco Bay area majoring in chemistry and molecular biology, Dr. Bolourian attended New York University where he graduated among the top five percent of his graduating class. He then continued his medical education and received his medical degree (M.D.) and completed seven years of General Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the State University of New York Health Science Center in New York, followed by a Cosmetic Surgery fellowship in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Bolourian has limited his practice to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. He has performed hundreds of oral, facial, reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures, which brings to you experience, predictability and consistency.

In addition to his extensive experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and aesthetic surgery, Dr. Bolourian has devoted his time and resources to medical missions in third world countries, performing surgeries on pediatric and adult patients with traumatic and congenital deformities. Prior to private practice, Dr. Bolourian served as an attending physician at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center in San Diego, California, recognized as one of the top 50 hospitals in the country, where he performed highly specialized surgeries including craniofacial deformities, trauma, head and neck cancer, cleft lip and palate and aesthetic/reconstructive surgeries of the head and neck.

Dr. Bolourian is a fellow of the American association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Oral and Facial Surgeons of California and an active member of the American Medical Association. His hobbies include spending quality time with his family and taking road trips with his wife and three boys.
