About

According to Reni Mathew, FNP a passion for science, an ability to care for others and stability and steadiness of the job led her to choose nursing as her career. “I worked in acute care as an ICU RN before advancing my career as a nurse practitioner in primary care,” she says. “Becoming a nurse practitioner allowed me to combine the clinical experience I had gained with greater autonomy in diagnosing, treating and managing patients’ health. Primary care helps build long term relationships with patients, focus on prevention, help manage chronic conditions and treat non urgent acute cases.”

Reni grew up in Northern India and speaks Hindi and Malayalam.

“For me, being instrumental in positively impacting health and quality of life, preventing complications and providing care and comfort to the sick is deeply satisfying. I would like my patients to know that I take the responsibility of caring for their health very seriously. They can trust that I will listen to their concerns, treat them with compassion and respect and always strive to provide the best care possible. I also want them to know that I am a sincere and genuine person who values honesty, builds trusting relationships and is committed to their well-being.”

Outside of work, Remi enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music to calm her mind, and occasionally traveling to experience new places and cultures.
