Dr. Rabbani specializes in complex angioplasty and stenting of the coronary and peripheral arteries. Dr. Rabbani also specializes in echocardiography and nuclear stress imaging.

Dr. Rabbani received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Brown University in 1987. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and AOA from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center in 1994. He completed fellowship trainings in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Diseases at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1999. The Cleveland Clinic Foundation is recognized as the world's leader in treating cardiovascular diseases and hence possesses the most rigorous cardiology training program in the nation. Dr. Rabbani is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Vascular Medicine.

After joining the faculty of the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1999, Dr. Rabbani served as the Assistant Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory as well as the Director of the Peripheral Vascular Interventional Program.

From 2001-2008, Dr. Rabbani was a physician partner at Pacific Cardiovascular Associates (PCA) where he served as the Director of the Peripheral Vascular Interventional Program as well as the Director of the Nuclear Cardiology Program.

Dr. Rabbani has served as Chief of Cardiology at Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, California from 2006 - 2008. He has served on the Medicine Executive Committee at Saddleback Medical Center and Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.
