Caring for another is a privilege. Having lived the experience from the patient's side, I know that the thought of being ill can be frightening. As a doctor, I strive to be supportive, patient and a keen listener. I pride myself on educating my patients and taking a direct and honest approach to building our relationship. My experiences and mentors have taught me that these are the key principles in helping another person cope with their illness.
