About

Dr. Quoc L. Nguyen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California in San Diego. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the world renowned New York University with high honors. He later completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Medical Center and its affiliated hospital Jesse Brown Veteran Affairs Hospital in Chicago. After finishing his residency, Dr. Nguyen worked as an associate at a reputable OMS group practice practice in the western suburbs of Chicago. During this time working in private practice, Dr. Nguyen held dual academic positions as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center and UIC Medical Center, where he was actively involved in resident education while talking ER call for maxillofacial trauma. In addition, Dr. Nguyen also held medical staff privileges at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois and Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. He has returned home to Southern California to be with his family and to provide an exceptional quality of surgical services for his patients at Laguna Hills Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery.
