Dr. Castillo is far and away the most caring and attentive doctor I have ever seen. He is the closest thing to the stereotypic family doctor from old movies and television, where I actually feel like he knows me and my family in a non-trivial way. Dr. Castillo has an excellent bedside manner and really connects with his patients. He takes the time to get to know me as a person and not just a name on a chart. When I arrive for my appointments he has already looked at my chart and is familiar with my conditions and lab work results before he walks in. He always follows up on referrals and anything else in an expeditious manner. I moved away from Long Beach four years ago and drive 40 miles one way to see him because Doctors like him are rare and almost impossible to find. I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly than I do him!
