Navelle E Jones, MD

Navelle Jones-Degruy, MD, attended medical school at University of Toledo School of Medicine, previously known as Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. Dr. Jones-Degruy chose a career in medicine because she has always been fascinated with learning science and the human body. Medicine was the perfect solution to fulfill both of her interests. In addition, when she visited her pediatrician when she was younger, she would be in awe learning and receiving the treatment he provided her in times of need.

I enjoy working with every one of my patients at all ages and observing their growth and maturity. It makes me happy to see them recover from illness with a gleeful smile. It’s important for my patients to know that I care and have love for them. From watching them grow from infancy to young adults, I cherish the success they achieve.

Dr. Jones-Degruy grew up in San Francisco, California. Outside of medicine, she enjoys gardening, woodworking, reading, and listening to music. Dr. Jones' advocacy is towards creating an environment where there is "Better healthcare for the poor community.
