Nathan T Kwong, MD

Nathan Kwong, MD, attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine. He decided to pursue internal medicine and hospitalist medicine in particular because he is able to care for a wide variety of patients and diseases during critical moments of their lives. Dr. Kwong enjoys educating his patients and guiding them through complex medical decisions to meet patient centered outcomes. He believes that patients should be empowered to make informed decisions that are most aligned with their personal goals and wishes.

I am a strong advocate for patient education. One of my major goals as a physician is to help patients take ownership of their health and navigate the complex healthcare system.

Dr. Kwong is a California native and grew up in both Los Angeles County and the Bay Area. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kwong enjoys indoor rock climbing, exploring new restaurants around Orange County, singing, playing guitar, and serving his local church community.
