About Me
Dr. Minal D. Tapadia is an orthopedic surgeon at Saddleback Medical Center and Orange Coast Medical Center. She has expertise in all aspects of joint pain and arthritis treatment including arthroscopic surgery as well as hip and knee replacement.
Dr. Tapadia also treats many other general orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports-related conditions, fractures, shoulder pain, back pain, carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, and trigger finger, among others. She is committed to providing solid orthopedic care in a compassionate, individualized, patient-centered manner.
Dr. Tapadia received her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and completed medical school at the University of Toledo in Ohio. After completing her orthopedic residency at University of California, Irvine, she completed her fellowship training in joint replacement at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida. She also previously completed law school at University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
She is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and has been published in leading orthopedic journals including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery as well as Journal of Hand Surgery. She has received multiple awards, from American Society of Surgery of the Hand, California Orthopedic Association, as well as Orthopedic Research and Educational Foundation.
In her free time, Dr. Tapadia enjoys traveling, photography, skiing and hiking.
