About

Marco Cianciola, MD chose a career in medicine because he has always enjoyed working with people and helping them through difficult situations. His biggest inspiration was his dad, who is also a Family Medicine physician. “Growing up, I saw the trust his patients placed in him and the difference he made in their lives, which played a major role in my decision to follow that same path,” he says.

“Family Medicine specifically allows me to care for patients of all ages, develop long-term relationships, and make a meaningful impact on their health over time. I enjoy the variety that comes with primary care and the opportunity to focus on both prevention and treatment.”

Like his father before him, Dr. Cianciola enjoys the opportunity to build long-term relationships with his patients. “There is something especially rewarding about caring for someone over many years, getting to know them and their family, and helping them navigate different stages of life. I enjoy partnering with patients to manage chronic conditions, focus on prevention, and celebrate improvements in their health along the way.”

A Southern CA native, Dr. Cianciola graduated as part of the inaugural class at Texas Christian University School of Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. “As I begin this next chapter in Southern California, I am excited to become part of the community and build lasting relationships with my patients,” he states. “I want my patients to know that I believe the best care comes from a strong physician-patient relationship built on trust, communication and mutual respect. My goal is to make sure patients feel heard, understood, and involved in decisions about their health. I am committed to being a long-term partner in their care and helping them achieve the best possible quality of life. “I look forward to caring for individuals and families over time and helping them achieve their long-term health goals. It is a privilege to be entrusted with someone’s healthcare, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve others through Family Medicine.”

Outside of medicine, Dr. Cianciola enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing at the beach, playing golf and traveling whenever he has the opportunity. “I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy following college athletics, especially TCU sports as a proud Horned Frog alumnus,” he adds.
