Marc D Taub, MD

Dr. Taub received his Medical Degree from the University of Southern California. After completing his emergency medicine residency at the University of California, San Diego, he returned to serve as Medical Director and Chairman of South Coast Medical Center Emergency Department for nearly ten years. He serves as the Emergency Department Medical Director at the Saddleback Medical Center. Dr. Taub has committed his career to helping healers heal, and leaders lead. Health care quality, patient safety, and wellness are among his key professional interests. He serves on numerous quality committees for Saddleback Medical Center and MemorialCare.

Dr. Taub recently was named a Healthcare Hero by the Greater Irvine Chamber for creating specialized during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the continued safety, exceptional care, and well-being of patients, physicians, and staff—the kind of work he leads his team to do every day. Read more here.
