About
Mahtab Naji, M.D. is an internal medicine physician who has worked in many health care locations as an undergraduate and intern, including the Institute of International Health in New York, VA Boston Healthcare System and Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. She received her medical degree at the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Medicine in Hungary and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California Riverside/St. Bernardine Medical Center. She grew up in Karaj, Iran and her native language is Persian.
Dr. Naji says she gets the greatest satisfaction from getting to know her patients and being able to listen to and help them with their issues. “I also want them to know that I’m here to help them in any possible way that a physician can help. I want my patients to know that they’re precious to me.”
When she is not in the office with her patients, Dr Naji enjoys soccer and baking.

I find her to be thorough and she seems to care about doing her job correctly. On occasion she does not exactly understand what I say but listens when correct my thoughts and details. She records our visits which I am not fond of....I understand it can be helpful later but my words without proper explanation can be misleading.. If Doctor says something I do not fully comprehend she is good about explaining in a way that I get the jest without so much medical knowledge. I have only seen her twice and we are trying to figure out my problem still. The office is good about contacting me once I get through the dreaded automation on the phone. Best Doc!I love Dr Naji! It’s been years since I’ve had a doctor who is so thorough every single visit. I never feel rushed when I bring up a concern. She takes her time and always follows through with my concerns be it a referral, home remedies or further treatment.
