Lauren Daggett, PA-C

Lauren Daggett, PA-C, studied to become a physician assistant at Chapman University. She decided to pursue medicine after hearing work stories from her mom, a labor and delivery nurse, and dad, a firefighter/paramedic, growing up. Lauren wanted to start her career as a physician assistant in family medicine to help provide access to quality primary care, and she wanted to work in a field that allows her to connect with her patients on a personal level to look beyond their illness and treat them as a whole. Working in family medicine provides Lauren with the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and further expand on the breadth of medical knowledge she was given during school.

Lauren wants her patients to know that she is dedicated to getting to know her patients personally in order to provide the best care tailored to their individual needs. She aims to practice preventative medicine and help patients take charge of their health maintenance to keep them feeling their best. She strives to work alongside with her patients and their families to be a healthcare partner and patient advocate at all times.

I love being able to connect with patients of all ages and make them feel comfortable regardless of their reason for seeking care. Knowing I have the opportunity to positively impact patients’ lives with each encounter is an amazing feeling and allows me to take pride in my work!

Lauren was born and raised in Orange County, CA and is excited to begin her career giving back to the communities she grew up in. Outside of medicine, Lauren is a part time photographer for families and couples. She loves spending time with her boyfriend and family, being active outdoors hiking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, going to the beach, attending country concerts, and going on road trips throughout the country. Lauren grew up as a hula/Tahitian dancer and hopes to get back into it now that she has finished school. She is also a mentor to UCLA undergraduate students pursuing a career as a PA.
