Lauren B Dwinell, MD

A resident of San Clemente, Dr. Dwinell has lived in Southern California since 1999. She was born and raised in Iowa and still considers herself a mid-westerner at heart.

She is on staff at Saddleback Medical Center, Mission Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Orange County at Mission. She is a member of Valiant Women, a charity organization through the Mission Hospital Foundation. She has been active in their efforts to raise funds for the Pediatric Surgery Pavilion as well as the Pediatric Emergency Room.

In her time away from work, Dr. Dwinell enjoys traveling and being outdoors. Her favorite activity is spending time with her husband and two young children.

Dr. Dwinell feels that pediatrics is so rewarding because, “I get to see the world through the eyes of children everyday, and that world is such an exciting place–so full of possibilities."
