About
Dr. Kien-An Duong chose a career in medicine as a way to "give back" to the community who helped him and his family when they first immigrated to this country.
Dr. Duong looks forward to establishing long-term relationships with his patients and getting to know the patient's families as well. He believes along with treating and healing, educating and learning from his patients are very important; "To teach is to learn."
Outside of medicine, Dr. Duong enjoys watching and participating in sports, going to the movies, dining, and attending family gatherings.

When I first met him I felt this connection like he was an old friend not a doctor. In fact, he was explaining what my situation was, and I was looking for two other doctors for my eyes and ophthalmologist for glaucoma and my other doctor that was for also I’m an ophthalmologist specialist in the field of I guess he would be giving me shots in my eyes.. I told him you explained a lot of stuff that I was never told about my condition. Only that I was diabetic and I needed these shots. He went into detail and said why I was getting these shots and where my eyes are at the moment, also he put me into this. I don’t know what you call it, but he put me in there where he asked me, knowing what conditions you have what do you think would be that must condition that you need to have that you wanna make sure that you always have and then he asked me why and then he also explained what his choice was so it made me realize that it is very important. It was more important not just for me doing it, but for me to think that it is necessary in order to be able to have my eyesight my limbs and just live normal life so I had to tell him thank you so much. I felt an honor to be able to come here and have them as my doctor I never felt pushed, or I never felt that he was like a mother talks to her kid. No, he just was very plain upfront and said how it is and what could happen so I am so thankful that I was able to choose him and there was a room for me. I can see why he is so popular. His staff were also wonderful.

Dr. Kien-An Duong is thorough, attentive and proactive. He has a very good manner about him which immediately puts you at ease. I felt like I was being treated as a patient and not a number on a clip board.

Think he is great doctor, but think is overwhelmed with his new position at 55 plus. They need another doctor to help in practice. Tried to get in after initial visit and booking now into October. Might need to look into more available doctors, sorry

I just saw this doctor for the first time. He was great. The staff seemed very confused about what kind of appointment this was. That was a bit unsettling.

Doctor paid a little attention to me as he was educating a nurse practitioner who was sitting in on my visit. Gave me a lecture on safety issues, etc. I don’t think he even looked at the five pages of questionnaire. I spent 30 minutes filling out. I was very disappointed
