About

Kendall Denning, DO’s decision to choose medicine as her profession was informed by personal and family experiences with medical conditions which led her to appreciate the field. She was also influenced by her volunteering at two separate places in college: a camp for people with disabilities, and ESL (English as a second language) school where she worked with immigrants from Mexico. “Seeing the same people weekly for 2-3 years led me to Family Medicine,” she says. “I love the breadth of practice in family medicine but the continuity of care is where my passion is because I love developing strong relationships with my patients. It brings me joy to be able to have that trust and mutual respect to better help people with their health. Truly knowing my patients and seeing them make small or big changes that positively affect their health is especially rewarding.”

Within family medicine, Dr. Denning has particular interests in women’s health, LGBTQ+ care (gender affirming care, HIV, sexual health, etc,) and MAT/substance use disorders.

“I want patients to know I am accepting of them from all aspects of life, and I am here to help guide their health choices. Ultimately, I want them to feel empowered to take charge of their health with me supporting them through so many life changes--kids, jobs, even deaths. I love being a part of that.”

When not caring for patients, Dr. Denning says, “I love reading any fiction but especially fantasy, and crafting like scrapbooking, embroidery, and sewing. I often paddleboard and I picked up pickleball during residency. I also love watching and going to soccer games.”
