About Me

Kamran Hamidi, M.D. is a board-certified infectious disease specialist. Dr. Hamidi has authored many papers on the pathogenesis of amyloidosis published in multiple international scientific journals.

Dr. Hamidi earned his medical degree from Cochin Port-Royal School of Medicine, René Descartes University in Paris, France. He spent his residency at René Descartes University in Paris before moving to the United States for a postdoctoral fellowship in pathology and laboratory medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and a residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Following his residency and research fellowship, he moved to Los Angeles where he went on to complete a fellowship in infectious diseases and HIV medicine at UCLA Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Hamidi is fluent in French and Farsi and speaks conversational Spanish. 

When Dr. Hamidi is not treating infectious diseases, he’s enjoying family time with his wife and three sons.
