The only reason I did not score him higher, is because he repeated some questions and when I told him I stopped taking the medication prescribed for pain relief bc it wasn’t effective, his response was to keep taking it for comfort.

I got everything I wanted out of my appointment to establish care. He listens and had definitely looked up my medical history. I’m not sure how he did that because I am new to Memorial Care. I didn’t feel like the my appointment ended appropriately. He just left the room. I thought he was coming back. He didn’t say nice to meet you or have a nice day. I came in for a follow up urgent care visit from a few days ago. Dr. Haghighat was the provider that saw me, but I dont feel like he did a complete assessment. He just asked 1 or 2 questions and walked out, wrote up a summary and had his staff tell me the orders, then they walked me out. He didn’t even ask me if I had any questions, but I had several.

Nice guy, but the whole experienced felt so rushed. Very little was talked about or discussed. Felt like someone who is working for the sake of keeping busy and not to really treating patients. Granted, this was a reschedule as well, which I appreciated being seen- but the quality was pretty low.

Dr. Haghighat has hand tremors that made packing my wound extremely painful. I haven’t felt burning while having my wound packed before. He was pushing the packing in way harder than necessary. I have had my wound packed 4 times as of 6/30/2026 and it was never this painful. All other PAs, nurses, and doctors I saw were extremely gentle. Nurse Jackie was amazing and took the time to apply Tegaderm in a way that did not cause any skin pulling. She was also mindful of the rash I had from previous tape. She also double checked that I wasn’t allergic to Tegaderm before applying.

I do not feel respected after seeing Kamran Haghighat. He did not listen to my concerns and did not answer all of my questions. Doctor's are supposed to care and it felt like he wanted me out of his exam room as fast as possible because of my condition. Would not recommend and will be looking for a new PCP. I will also be moving my wife and two children off of Memorial Care as a result of this visit.
