About
Hannah Barroga, DO, grew up in Cerritos, California and has always had a love for family medicine. Her dad played a crucial role in her decision to become a family medicine physician growing up because she helped him manage his type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic medical conditions with a good diet and exercise regime. Dr. Barroga graduated from medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona and went on to complete her family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center.
Dr. Barroga loves educating her patients to make more informed decisions regarding their health and wellbeing. Helping her patients make changes in their lifestyle to become even a little healthier, however small the change may be, gives her the most satisfaction. She feels it is important for her patients to know how important mutual respect and collaboration are in a successful doctor-patient relationship.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys going to concerts and stand-up comedy shows, trying different foods, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Additionally, she tries to meditate on a daily basis and to live a more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

So glad she is my doctor!I felt so heard and seen by Dr. Barroga and the awesome staff. It felt better than your typical doctors appointment. I did not feel rushed or as if I was just another block in the schedule as I’ve felt in other places. Both doctor and nurse really heard me out and seemed to genuinely care about my concerns. Dr. Barroga is an absolutely incredible doctor. She takes a patient-centered approach and always listens to concerns without any judgement. And I mean TRULY listens. We discussed test results I recently received during our visit as well as ongoing symptoms I was experiencing. While some doctors may be dismissive and assume they know the answer based off just one test, she instead advocated for additional tests to be done in order to get thorough and comprehensive look at what could be contributing to my symptoms. She truly leaves no stone unturned. When performing a routine well woman exam, she provided clear communication throughout such as what she would be doing and what I might feel so that there was nothing unexpected or shocking. I leave every visit so appreciative and thankful, and will always recommend Dr. Barroga to any family or friends looking for a doctor.

Allow for more consult time, especially for consult after hospitalization. My visits and my kids visits regardless always feel rushed. Doctors literally verbalize that “this consult is only for xyz and time only allows for what you came in for”, You literally can’t deviate or ask anything else about your health or care because you are cut off to due to time. It is just rude. Yet nothing is said when one shows up on time and doctors run behind.
